How much do you remember about Britain’s battlefields and the kings who won – and lost – their crowns?   For me, the names of the battles and the stories attached to them inspire an ongoing curiosity;   I think this is true of many people, if the recent excavation of Richard III’s remains is anything to go by.

I don’t expect you to know all the answers here (I certainly wouldn’t!) but I hope you have fun trying!  Don’t forget your hauberk.

  1. Good quiz!! 80% would have been 90 but I changed from Camlann to Badon…… enjoyed that 🙂

  2. Susan Abernethy says:

I should have put the Black Prince’s Ruby!! Arggggh….

  3. I only knew 3 of the answers and got one more right by chance, so 40%, which is my usual kind of score. I’m happy with that. 🙂

    • That isn’t bad at all! I would have struggled with many of them. I’m surprised the King Arthur one is catching people out (no one has got it right yet!)
