Office tips 2: respect in the workplace

There are many hazards and difficulties in the workplace, which I highlighted in an earlier feature.  Speaking personally, one of the commonest problems that I encounter is the requirement to give up my comfy seat in front of the computer.

This is annoying and, as you will agree, completely unnecessary.

In this useful video, I show you how to combat this type of harassment.   As a result, the would-be occupier will be reduced to getting out the fold-up deck chair and leaving you in peace.

  1. You show ’em Purdey, it doesn’t do for the minions to go getting ideas above their station, they have to know who’s boss.

  2. Too funny…somehow I missed the “hazards and difficulties in the workplace” Loved it and so true!

Tommy does things like these when I want to get him out of my room. 😀

    • She is very cute, but she does have sharp bits and they are VERY sharp! Yes, Purdey has a habit of being VERY difficult to catch when she needs to be outside or in the kitchen!

  4. JUST ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! I LOVE YOUR HUMOUR AND PRESENTATION OF THE TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS OF WORKING AROUND OUR COLLEAGUES IN THE WORKPLACE. IT CAN BE QUITE CHALLENGING, TO SAY THE LEAST BUT I THINK THAT YOU HAVE A GOOD HANDLE ON THE SITUATION AND CERTAINLY DO OFFER UP SOME GOOD SOUND ADVISE TO THOSE STILL STRUGGLING WITH THEIR VARIOUS STRESSES IN SUCH OF SO STRESSFUL WAYS.!!! i WOULD LOVE TO SEE MORE OF YOUR COLLEAGUE – HE REMINDS ME OF THE COUPLE WE HAVE AT HOME PREFORMING MANY OF THE SAME FUNCTIONS AS YOUR NOTED WORKMATE!!!!
