Purdey’s pilates practice

Here is Purdey’s simple, three-step pilates workout for feline flexibility.  

1.    Find a comfy chair, preferably with a nice soft cushion.   Make sure it is unoccupied.
2.    Curl up in a perfect circle (purring optional).
3.    Slowly stretch your right front leg upwards above your head;  be careful not to over-strain.  Hold for a few seconds and then repeat with the left.

Afterwards, it is crucially important to relax.  Here is a good example of a relaxed pose.

This is not something that can be learned overnight – it takes practice and perseverance.
